Ujjain woman ‘kidnapped’ in 25 seconds, then reveals shocking twist

A 19-year-old woman was allegedly abducted from outside her home in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday night. The incident was captured on CCTV footage, showing two men arriving in a black car and taking her away within 25 seconds. The woman's family lodged a kidnapping complaint with the police, who registered the case and began searching for the accused.

One of the men identified as Dhruv Kumawat, a resident of Ujjain’s Urdupura area. However, the case took a surprising turn when a video surfaced on social media featuring the woman and Kumawat. In the video, the woman claimed she left the car with the man voluntarily and denied being forcibly abducted. She said she had been in contact with him for several years and that the two had married.

The couple appealed to their families not to pressure them and said they would appear before the police or court within a few days. Despite the video, police have continued investigating the kidnapping complaint. They are examining the CCTV footage and the newly surfaced videos as part of their investigation. The case remains under investigation, with conflicting accounts between the family's allegation of abduction and the woman's claim that she left voluntarily.
