Spanish referee Gil Manzano chosen for France vs. Italy

Spanish referee Jesus Gil Manzano has been selected to officiate the Nations League encounter between France and Italy on Friday at the Stade de France in Paris. The match will commence at 19:45 UK time (20:45 CEST).

Manzano, who is 42 years old, will be joined by three Spanish officials: assistant referees Guadalupe Porras Ayuso and Raul Cabanero, and fourth official Juan Martinez Munuera. Guillermo Cuadra Fernandez will serve as the Video Assistant Referee, supported by Valentin Gomez.

This assignment marks Manzano's second appearance officiating Italy at senior level, preceding a 1-0 win over England in the 2022 Nations League and a 0-0 European Championship qualifying stalemate against Ukraine in November 2023.
