#SHOWBIZ: Ben Affleck admits his teens roast him over relationship advice

Los Angeles-based actor Ben Affleck has revealed that his children often make fun of him when he attempts to give them relationship advice. Speaking on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, the 54-year-old Hollywood star explained that his efforts to impart life lessons are met with sarcastic reactions, especially from his 17-year-old son.

Affleck recounted how he would try to interject, "Well, you know, the thing about relationships is..." only to be met with a response like, "Oh, like Dad's such an expert on relationships?" Initially, Affleck approached such discussions as any other parent would, believing it was his duty to offer guidance based on his own experiences.

However, he soon discovered that his teenagers took it a step further. At the dinner table, they would exchange knowing glances, clearly amused by their father's romantic history. Affleck admitted that he was now the "joke in the story," rather than the one offering advice. The father of three, who shares children Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14, with ex-wife actress Jennifer Garner, revealed that his relationship history, including his past engagement to Jennifer Lopez, which ended nearly two decades ago and a subsequent divorce, has become a source of amusement for his children.
