Prince Harry’s spokesman slams ‘reckless’ paparazzi tactics at kids’ school

Prince Harry's spokesperson has criticised what they described as "extraordinarily reckless" tactics by press photographers outside their children's school in the UK. The spokesperson explained that there is a clear distinction between legitimate media activity and photographers lingering near a school, peering into the grounds and monitoring children.

Harry's children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have been attending school in the UK since the family's return from the US. The spokesperson expressed concern that certain European paparazzi were unwilling to respect the privacy of children at school. Harry and Meghan returned to the UK last month, after six years living in the US, following their decision to exit the working royal family and a family feud.

Reports suggest two men with backpacks and a white van were spotted by school staff and private security near the school, walking the perimeter and observing pupils. The men, who were initially separated and later together, were eventually identified as international photographers working for a European press agency. The police later confirmed that the vehicle was a rental and that the men were foreigners.

The spokesperson emphasized that such behavior in the wake of the recent terrorist incident near RAF Fairford, a US Air Force base, demonstrated an "extraordinary lack of judgement." Whatever photographs these photographers might have sought, their actions were an unacceptable intrusion into the privacy of children and an irresponsible manner to conduct themselves near a school, according to the spokesperson.
