Peter Obi a liar, living false life – Edo commissioner, Afegbua

Edo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Kassim Afegbua, has accused Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi of living a false life. Afegbua claims Obi's lifestyle falls under what he describes as 'the five types of lies'. Speaking to Symfoni TV, Afegbua disputed Obi's position on alleged debt when he was leaving office as governor of Anambra State.

According to Afegbua, contrary to Obi's claims, records from the Debt Management Office (DMO) show that Anambra State was in debt when he left office. Afegbua pointed out that Obi had falsely claimed not to have taken foreign loans. He urged people to check the DMO records, accessible through a simple Google search. Afegbua also alleged that some workers were owed gratuities and pensions during Obi's tenure as Anambra State governor.

He further stated that Obi displayed only one shoe and one wristwatch, despite evidence of him possessing multiple wristwatches. Afegbua concluded that Obi may not have anticipated his future ambition, but living a false life by portraying himself inaccurately.
