‘Nigeria is not safe’ — BBNaija’s Cross alleges beggar robbed him in Lagos

BBNaija star Cross Okonkwo has expressed his unhappiness after alleging that a street beggar robbed him in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos. The incident was revealed in a video he posted on his social media account, where he claimed that some beggars approached his vehicle while he was in the vicinity. Cross stated that one of the men reached into his car and allegedly stole an item before fleeing the scene.

He said, "Federal government, I just got robbed. All these beggars, they were in my window talking to me. I did not refuse the guy and he just ripped off something from my car and ran away."

Cross mentioned that he pursued the alleged robber but was unable to catch him due to the man's swift running speed. He then questioned the government regarding the presence of street beggars in Lagos, raising concerns about the country's safety. He said, "Nigeria is not safe. Federal government, what kind of mistake are you guys doing allowing these guys on the street?"

Cross further expressed his disbelief at why authorities allowed these individuals to roam the streets of Lagos, calling it unfair. The statement concludes with Cross's disapproval, "Nigeria is not safe"
