Mike Vrabel Fires Back at Reports About His Relationship With Drake Maye

During an interview on The Greg Hill Show, host Greg Hill claimed to have heard whispers from an insider regarding issues between Maye and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel since Vrabel took over as head coach before the 2025 season. Hill emphasized that Vrabel, known for his loyalty to players, is "a his guy-kind of coach" who has signed all of his teammates since joining the Patriots.

Vrabel addressed the report during a news conference, stating that he joined the team because Maye was already there. "I’m here because Drake was the quarterback," Vrabel said, adding that he has no further comments on the rumored insider report. However, Vrabel has previously criticized some of Maye's decision-making during the first three weeks of the season.
