Last tickets remain for Manilva's enchanting choir night, promising Christmas cheer for local children. The annual autumn concert at Manilva's CIVIMA Theatre on Friday, October 2 raises funds for the Children’s Christmas Appeal organized by the Duquesa Charitable Society of St George. This noble initiative provides Christmas packages for local children and supports families in need of extra assistance.

Over the past eight years, Love to Sing's International Community Choir has successfully raised thousands of euros for this cause, and this year, they eagerly anticipate the support from neighbours and visitors for the 2026/27 campaign.

Billed as "A Night of Magical Music," the evening features a captivating selection of songs from beloved films and musicals. The program is expertly divided into two parts: "The Good" followed by "The Amusing and the Bad." Tickets are priced at a modest €10, with all proceeds directed towards the Children’s Christmas Appeal. The choir, founded in 2018 and based in Sabinillas, welcomes singers of various nationalities, led by musical director Shirley Helleur. The choir's repertoire encompasses classical, pop, rock, and musical theatre.

Love to Sing's International Community Choir's annual charity concert is just the beginning of a busy season of performances. Two upcoming concerts include one at Estepona’s Mirador del Carmen Auditorium on Friday, October 9, benefiting the Emaus Soup Kitchen, which provides aid to those in need in the Estepona area.
