Laporan RCI TH: Zulkifli fokus tindakan susulan selepas beri keterangan kepada PAC

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Prime Minister's Department (Hal Ehwal Agama) Minister Zulkifli Hasan has placed emphasis on comprehensive and stringent follow-up actions against the Royal Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (RCI) report on the Hajj Endowment Fund (TH) after providing testimony to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He stressed that this step is crucial for preserving the trust of millions of depositors and maintaining the integrity of Islamic assets.

The minister stressed that the primary focus for now is to ensure the follow-up actions against the RCI TH report are carried out effectively and thoroughly, as he stated via a Facebook post. According to him, he investigated all related documents, including the Hajj Endowment Act and the RCI report, before attending the session.

During the more than two-hour session, various questions were asked by PAC members, and he described his first experience of testifying before the committee as a PhD viva voce examination, requiring the researcher to present their dissertation in front of an evaluative panel. Sympathetically, he expressed relief that the preparation allowed him to confidently answer the questions posed with ease and certainty, thanks to Allah's will.
