Kevin Sinfield's MND runs inspire cycle challenge

Glen Hartley, a resident of Hull, will cycle over 170 miles (113km) with his friend Jon Fish from Friday to Sunday. The trio will raise funds for Andy's Man Club and the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a cause close to Hartley's heart due to his father Paul's diagnosis with motor neurone disease (MND). Hartley fondly recalled Sinfield's involvement in his father's challenge, stating he would be thinking of the former rugby player during his own hill climbs.

Sinfield gifted Paul Sinfield's changing robe at the end of the first leg, and both Glen and Paul participated in an event alongside Sinfield, meeting other members of the MND community. Following the challenge, both participants expressed excitement and nerves about their respective endeavors.
