Musk even suggested that if his predictions prove accurate, people shouldn't worry about saving for retirement in the future, as their financial stability might become irrelevant.

The tech leaders signed a joint commitment to ensure AI development is carried out responsibly, emphasizing the need for robust internal controls, oversight by independent external auditors, and an independent board committee. Musk's cautious optimism about AI's transformative potential contrasts with previous views he expressed about the possible catastrophic risks associated with the technology.
