Electronics boosts Thai manufacturing
Thailand's Manufacturing Production Index (MPI) rose by 4.44% year-on-year to 103.43 points in August, supported by a broader methodology that captures more high-value products and strong global demand for electronics driven by investment in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and data centres, according to the Office of Industrial Economics (OIE).
