DOSH wins top award for digital health insurance

DOSH Health Insurance has been honored with the title of Outstanding Digital Health Insurance Company of the Year at the 9th Ghana Business Standard Awards (GBSA) in Accra. The prestigious award acknowledges firms that exemplify excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth while emphasizing the company's commitment to leveraging digital technology to broaden access to affordable and convenient health insurance in Ghana.

CEO Frank Augustine Dagbui received the accolade on behalf of the company. The recognition underscores DOSH Health Insurance's efforts in utilizing digital solutions to streamline the enrollment, selection, premium payment, and coverage management processes for its clients. The company's digital-first approach enables customers to register, choose health insurance plans, pay premiums, and manage their coverage across multiple platforms, such as the "DOSH is life" App, CSR-supported telephony, WhatsApp, and the *915# USSD shortcode.

DOSH Health Insurance's strategic collaboration with MTN MoMo further bolsters accessibility by enabling customers to utilize mobile money platforms to activate and manage their health insurance coverage. Following the presentation of the award, Dagbui highlighted that the recognition affirms the company's commitment to marrying technological innovation with practical solutions for customers.

He emphasized that the award reflects the dedication of the team in developing products aimed at simplifying access to health insurance and ensuring that technological solutions do not create barriers but rather eliminate them. Dagbui reiterated DOSH Health Insurance's dedication to providing a premier customer experience and advancing its network to expand access to affordable health insurance across Ghana.
