Australian man goes to Jalan Besar outlet for 'legit' massage, says he was shouted at when declined 'sexual services'

A massage establishment in Singapore's Jalan Besar area has faced allegations of offering sexual services to its clients. An Australian tourist, 45, visited the parlour and claims he was inappropriately touched during his massage, after which sexual services were offered. Initially, the establishment seemed legitimate and professional to him.

However, upon refusal, the masseuse's demeanor changed dramatically, with her shouting at him and claiming she was there solely to earn tips through sexual services. He left the premises swiftly, citing a very negative impression of his visit to Singapore. Another woman revealed texts on Telegram between her husband and a masseuse from the same parlour, displaying suggestive messages about arranging meet-ups and discussing the type of service.

The husband reportedly admitted to visiting the parlour and engaging in these services. When contacted, the establishment's staff denied the allegations, stating they only provided normal massages. The store had tinted glass, and visible lingerie hung on racks behind the shop. Inside, three female staff were seen sitting on the couch near the entrance, and a massage area was present in the back.

The massage parlour, registered as a Beauty Salon and Spa, is owned by a new entity that took over in July 2026. Despite the allegations, no police report has been filed. Additionally, Telegram groups advertising massage services were discovered, with the involved masseuse featured on one group as recently as August 2026. At least six other masseuses from the establishment were listed in these open-access groups, along with customer reviews and listings from other establishments.
