Ariana Madix to Star in Sci-Fi Drama ‘Future Housewives’ in the Works at Peacock

Ariana Madix and Seth MacFarlane are teaming up to create a new scripted drama series titled "Future Housewives" for Peacock. The logline reveals that the show is set in the luxurious asteroid colony of New Beverly Hills, where affluent socialites navigate bioengineered beauty routines, fierce competition, and interplanetary scandals. When an inexperienced newcomer disrupts their opulent lives, it becomes clear that they have become out of touch with the rapidly changing society.

Ariana Madix, known for her role in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" spinoff "Vanderpump Rules," will star in the series, alongside Seth MacFarlane. Both Madix and MacFarlane will serve as executive producers, along with Erica Huggins, Jaron Lanier, Rachel Hargreaves-Heald, and Emily Kochman. The project marks the first scripted endeavor for Over Fences, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Seth MacFarlane, a household name for his work on "Family Guy," "Ted," "The Orville," and "American Dad," brings his comedic genius to the new series. Madix, on the other hand, has gained fame for her breakout role in "Vanderpump Rules" and has appeared in various shows such as "Dancing With the Stars," "Chicago," and "St. Denis Medical." She currently hosts "Love Island USA."
