Amsterdam-based preventive health care startup Blue Health Intelligence has successfully raised €3.4 million in funding to expand its services across Europe and further develop its products. The round was led by Knop Investments, with contributions from notable entrepreneurs Jeroen Tas, ex-Philips Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer, and Dutch influencer Anna Nooshin.

Onno Huyghe, CEO and co-founder of Blue Health Intelligence, explained that while countries like Japan, Germany, and the UK already incorporate regular health assessments into their healthcare systems, the Netherlands has yet to embrace this approach. Huyghe believes that early health insights can help individuals maintain their health longer and prevent issues.

To achieve this, Blue Health Intelligence offers an affordable health checkup that provides a comprehensive 360-degree assessment of a person's health in just one hour for €299.

The company boasts a team of medical professionals and doctors who conduct the on-site tests and interpret the results, which are then discussed with patients immediately after the appointment and uploaded to the Blue app. Since its launch, Blue Health Intelligence has facilitated over 2,000 in-person health checks in Amsterdam's Prinsengracht location. The company's expansion plans include targeting Italy and France as the most promising markets, potentially launching in Paris or Milan during the first half of 2027.

Blue Health Intelligence has collaborated with partners such as TrainMore, Hotel & Wellness Zuiver, and Fosbury & Sons Amsterdam. The recent funding follows a previous investment round in which the startup raised over €1.1 million. Maurits Koning, Managing Director at Knop Investments, expressed his support for Blue Health Intelligence, stating that the funding will enable the team to further develop their products and enter new markets.
