Amazon's $25 self-propelling speakers gave me the giggles as they tried to walk off the edge of my desk, and that's almost worth the price of entry alone

For $25, these little speakers claim to deliver impressive volume and bass. Upon receiving them, Edser discovered that the speakers have a tendency to "go for a little wander" when placed on a flat surface.

Despite this amusing feature, they only received a perfect score for entertainment value. However, the midrange performance leaves much to be desired, causing a noticeable lack of clarity in distorted guitar tracks. While the treble is slightly shrill, the overall sound is still better than expected for the price. Edser recommends keeping the speakers taped down to prevent any further escapades.

While there are cheaper alternatives available, such as Creative Pebble 2.0 units, he suggests these Amazon Basics speakers are still a better value than many options in the same price range.
