YCO Cloud, Aolani to roll out 10,000 NVIDIA AI units in Philippines

Manila, Philippines - Digital infrastructure firm YCO Cloud has teamed up with Singapore-based Aolani to introduce the nation's inaugural NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. These powerful GPUs are set to bolster the Philippines' AI capabilities. Over 10,000 NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 units are scheduled to be deployed by the first quarter of next year, providing cutting-edge AI capabilities for government agencies, local businesses, startups, and global AI-native companies.

The highly advanced GPUs are engineered to turbocharge artificial intelligence reasoning and manage complex data center tasks, potentially generating up to 50 times more output. Aolani will handle AI infrastructure, GPU financing, deployment, and operations, while YCO Cloud will supply purpose-built, sustainable and scalable digital infrastructure and local expertise.

The partnership is expected to foster a scalable artificial intelligence ecosystem, stimulating local innovation and enhancing national economic productivity. YCO Cloud CEO Nik de Ynchausti stated that the Philippines, with its robust submarine cable systems and expanding renewable energy sources, is now poised to scale up digital infrastructure. The collaboration is also crafted to adhere to global sustainability standards for water usage and rely on dedicated renewable energy sources.

Aolani CEO Nicholas Chia noted that the Philippines is becoming a burgeoning market for digital infrastructure growth as Southeast Asia solidifies its role as a key hub for global AI development. "This collaboration will play a pivotal role in democratizing access to advanced AI infrastructure in the Philippines, supporting the growth of the country’s digital economy and AI ecosystem," he added.
