Vote for the 2026 Somerset County Midseason Breakout Football Player

High school football enthusiasts can now cast their votes for the top offensive player in the 2026 TSSAA football season, according to the Knoxville area midseason poll. The poll, which closes on Friday, October 2nd at noon, compiles stats from the midseason offensive player watch list submitted by coaches. For Alcoa, Jamir Dean, a senior and committed Georgia football player, stands out with 19 catches for 347 yards and four touchdowns.

Alcoa's Micah Jones, also a senior, leads the Tornadoes in rushing with 480 yards and 11 touchdowns on 52 carries. Anderson County's JD Gillum, a senior, shows strong passing skills with 1,657 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Larue, a junior from Anderson County, contributes significantly with 501 rushing yards and six touchdowns through 58 carries, along with 275 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 20 catches.

From CAK, Isaac Kannah, a senior, has 556 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 67 carries. Moffett, a junior from CAK, leads the team with 589 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and no interceptions on 42-of-64 passes. He also adds 478 rushing yards and five TDs on 34 attempts.
