UGA student, 21, survives 8th-floor fall; dad says lucky to be alive
University of Georgia senior Kristin Sargent, 21, survived an eighth-floor fall from an off-campus apartment in Athens, Georgia. Police said witnesses reported she had been dancing on a couch or air mattress before falling through a screen. Her father said she suffered multiple injuries but remains awake and is recovering in intensive care.
