Reacher Season 6 Confirmed While Season 5 Is Still in Production

Amazon has greenlit Reacher Season 6 while Season 5 is still being produced. Reacher Season 4, which concluded earlier this month, garnered an impressive 66 million viewers within 28 days of its launch, placing it among the top five most-watched original series on Prime Video. The show has reached a total of 200 million viewers globally.

Reacher star Alan Ritchson is currently filming Season 5 in Toronto. The series is based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher book series, with each season loosely inspired by a specific novel. Amazon has not disclosed which book Season 6 will be adapted from. The Reacher formula is straightforward: a muscular, former U.S. Army military police major arrives in an unfamiliar town and becomes involved in a conspiracy that only he can resolve.

His methods involve brute force and intellectual prowess. Reacher shies away from modern life, eschewing technology and living as a nomad across the United States. While Reacher's popularity has varied across seasons, his message of standing up against injustice has resonated with a worldwide audience. Ritchson, who has been considered for other DC Universe and MCU roles, is committed to continuing his role as Reacher as long as his physical capabilities allow.
