Premier League Confirms Manchester City Found Guilty of All Serious Charges

The Premier League has confirmed that its independent commission has found Manchester City guilty of all serious charges related to breaches of the league's financial rules, according to the announcement made on Tuesday. The three-year review revealed that the club engaged in "sham" agreements with sponsors, artificially inflating revenues by more than 900 million pounds over a nine-season period from 2009 to 2018, reported the source.

The league further stated that Manchester City failed to cooperate in the league investigation, creating these agreements as part of a "disguised funding scheme" where the companies would only pay a portion of the money, while the rest came from the club's ownership, Abu Dhabi United Group.
