Okpebholo, Edo APC pledge 2.5m votes for Tinubu in 2027

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo and the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress have voiced optimism that the party will secure a victory in the 2027 general elections, with the aim of garnering 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu. During a mobilization rally in Ologbo Wards 9 and 10, located in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Okpebholo announced the presentation of the party's candidates for the upcoming elections.

The governor asserted that the APC's strong foundation throughout the state has positioned them favorably ahead of the election. He called for unity and commitment among party members, urging them to support the candidates and work towards securing their victory. The Edo APC Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, reiterated the party's goal of amassing 2.5 million votes for Tinubu in the 2027 elections, stating that the party leadership has already initiated mobilization efforts across the 18 local government areas.
