MKBHD's hair is still safe after Elon Musk says Tesla's Cybercab service won't reach California until 2027

MKBHD, the influential tech YouTuber, expressed a desire to shave his head if Tesla met its 2026 Cybercab launch deadline. However, despite Elon Musk's recent announcement of a revised timeline for the Cybercab's commercial release, it appears that the tech enthusiast's hair remains secure. In an interview with the China Global Television Network, Musk revealed that the two-seat, steering-wheel-free vehicle will begin operating commercially in Florida, Nevada, and a few other states, as well as likely in California by mid-next year.

This revised schedule does not fully resolve the contentious bet between MKBHD and Tesla, as the vehicle must also pass an NHTSA audit to confirm its safety standards. Despite these developments, MKBHD remains optimistic about his head of hair, stating that he is "pretty confident" Tesla will not meet its aggressive pricing goal for the Cybercab in America.
