Minnesota picks 57-acre site for $1 billion horticulture world fair
Minnesota has selected Lakeville as the planned host city for Expo 2031, a horticulture-focused international exhibition expected to attract millions of visitors. Organisers have secured a purchase agreement for 57 acres, while more land is expected to be assembled for the six-month event. Plans include pavilions, gardens, an amphitheatre and developments intended to remain after the Expo.
