Metallus wins defense contract with $995M ceiling, $125M order

Canton, Ohio-based Metallus Inc. has secured a $995 million defense contract with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract allows the company to supply steel for defense applications over a five-year period, with up to 24 months to fulfill each delivery order. The initial delivery order under the contract is valued at approximately $125 million.

Metallus CEO Mike Williams emphasized the company's commitment to supporting the DLA and the U.S. military's readiness mission through domestically produced steel.
