La hija de Sol Daurella entra en el consejo de Cobega

Sol Vilarrubí Daurella, daughter of Sol Daurella Comadrones, president of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), has been appointed to the board of Cobega, the holding company of the Daurella family. This move marks a generational shift on the panel, as Sol Vilarrubí Daurella will represent Zarapicos Golf 39, a firm previously represented by her father.

Following Carles Vilarrubí Carrió's death in late 2023, her wife took over the position. Sol Vilarrubí Daurella's representative roles will now extend to Indau and Daurin, as well as the Luxembourg-based Indau and Daurin. The president of a leading independent Coca-Cola bottler, Sol Daurella Comadrones, had previously had a relative on the board, with her son Josè Albiol Daurella serving as a representative of Begindau, the firm controlling 34.95% of Cobega.

The board of directors now consists of 16 members, including 15 companies and one individual, Melina Rotllant Daurella. The executive committee, responsible for managing the corporation, includes eight members. Sol Daurella and Mario Rotllant are the co-presidents of Cobega. In addition to its stake in CCEP, Cobega directly operates The Coca-Cola Company's bottling business in 13 countries in the Maghreb and West Africa through Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, which it controls 70% of.

The corporation's operations also include Daba, responsible for Nespresso distribution in Spain, and Daufood, with 130 Dominos Pizza restaurants in three European countries. In 2025, Cobega generated €1.454 billion in revenue, reported a net profit of €411 million, and distributed €130 million in dividends.
