Klopp would be first Germany men's coach to lose first three games

Jürgen Klopp, the current coach of the Germany national team, would make history as the first German men's coach to lose his first three games in charge if Germany fail to secure a win against Serbia in their upcoming UEFA Nations League match in Munich. The 59-year-old manager has started his tenure with mixed results, achieving a 1-1 draw in the Netherlands and suffering a 1-0 home defeat against Greece.

However, there are encouraging signs that Klopp could overcome this daunting challenge, as two of his predecessors, Sepp Herberger and Helmut Schön, also endured their first two games without a win before ultimately securing victories in their third matches. Herberger, in particular, led Germany to their first World Cup title in 1954, while Schön holds the distinction of being the only German men's coach to win both the European Championship (1972) and the World Cup (1974).

Despite his team's recent setbacks, Klopp dismissed concerns about the negative record, stating that it would be better to start poorly than to end poorly.
