Kes KLVC: Bekas pengarah besar Felda didakwa esok

Yesterday, SPRM Deputy Inspector General Abd Halim Aman announced that the former head of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) will face trial tomorrow at the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur. The individual is set to be charged with one offense under Section 420 of the Penal Code. According to the court calendar, the man is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Number 14 in the presence of Judge Suzana Hussin at 9 a.m. the following day.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has informed that they have obtained permission to charge the former Felda head. On September 25, Deputy Inspector General Abd Halim Aman stated that the individual will appear in court on one charge under Section 420 of the Penal Code. The investigation into KLVC is part of seven investigations involving Felda and Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd (FIC), which includes six new investigations and one long-standing case.

The investigation focuses on the purchase and investment of assets by Felda and FIC between 2010 and 2020, which are accused of being corrupt, fraudulent, and abuse of power.
