Josh Hokit accuses Tom Aspinall of faking an eye injury to get UFC release

Josh Hokit has dismissed Tom Aspinall's claims of an eye injury, suggesting the British fighter may be exaggerating the severity to avoid fighting. Aspinall has been sidelined for nearly a year due to a damaging eye injury sustained from Ciryl Gane, which has severely impacted his career. Despite vacating his UFC heavyweight title, Hokit does not believe Aspinall is genuinely suffering.

Instead, he accuses Aspinall of deliberately inflating the extent of his injury to avoid combat. Hokit states, "When I'm the champ, I'm giving them four fights a year. I ain't doing no p*ssy sh*t like Tom Aspinall." He further doubts the authenticity of Aspinall's surgeries and alleged fake treatments. Hokit believes Aspinall is trying to get out of his UFC contract and pursue boxing.
