The latest escalation includes an import ban on Canadian alcohol, dairy products, and motorcycles entering the U.S. LeBlanc dismissed Trump's comments, stating that the Canadian government is defending its economy and workers. He added that Canada remains in contact with its American counterparts, but for now, the focus is on what can be controlled within Canada.
