J B Ecotex files IPO papers with SEBI; eyes ₹400 cr via fresh issue

J B Ecotex Ltd has submitted preliminary paperwork to SEBI for an IPO, aiming to generate ₹400 crore through a fresh share issuance. The company, based in Surat, plans to offer up to 1.29 crore equity shares for sale by its promoters, as per the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP). An additional pre-IPO placement of up to ₹80 crore may also be considered.

The raised funds will be allocated towards repaying outstanding loans and general corporate expenses. Established in 2012, J B Ecotex specializes in recycling PET bottles to produce recycled PET products utilized in textiles, food-grade packaging, and other packaging materials. The firm operates two manufacturing units in Dhamdod, Surat, and has recycled over 31 million PET bottles since FY16.

In FY26, the company processed more than 3.5 million bottles daily on average. As of March 2026, J B Ecotex has served over 700 customers in India and 25 other nations. The company has also applied for a patent for its unique chemical recycling technology. Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, JM Financial, and MUFG Intime India are handling the issue, with the shares slated for listing on the NSE and BSE.
