The Polaroid Mod instant camera is an all-analog device that offers 1,000 times more fun than AI-generated photos, according to its creators. This camera, unveiled by Polaroid on September 29, takes inspiration from the Polaroid I-2 and Polaroid Flip, with a metallic finish and familiar design elements. Its two-lens system includes a 103mm main lens and a 95mm portrait lens, and utilizes an infrared autofocus system with just two focus zones.

The camera features a compact and lightweight design, weighing in at 520g, and is rugged enough to withstand accidental drops. The camera comes with a USB-C port for charging its 750mAh battery, which should last through over a dozen film packs. However, the most intriguing aspect of the Polaroid Mod is its array of creative shooting modes, including Double-Exposure, Split Shot, Motion Freeze, and Light Painting.

These modes allow users to experiment with unique photographic techniques, such as capturing multiple subjects in a single image or creating a light trail effect by moving the camera while capturing a long exposure.
