Google Translate could soon auto-save transcripts of your Live conversations, but not on Android XR

Google Translate is reportedly testing a feature called "Auto-save transcript" in its Live Translate settings for mobile users. This new feature will allow users to automatically save the transcripts of their live conversations. However, when smart glasses are connected and being used, the transcript saving will be disabled to protect user privacy.

Users will still be able to use voice commands to initiate translation on their smart glasses, but ending the session will be as simple as swiping on the touchpad.
