From Kuching to Subang Jaya, Toyota’s pickleball tour brings Malaysians together

Toyota Malaysia’s Pickle Tour 2026 concluded its five-city journey, engaging over 1,500 participants from Sarawak, Sabah, Johor, Penang and Selangor. Originating in Kuching, the tour progressed through Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru, George Town, and concluded in Subang Jaya. Organized by UMW Toyota Motor with backing from the Youth and Sports Ministry, the event saw 637 adults and 289 juniors compete across the locations, with an additional 177 individuals taking part in coaching clinics.

The junior division welcomed players as young as seven years old, while the adult teams included participants aged 50 and older. The tournament offered a RM175,000 prize pool across adult and junior categories, with winners honored at each stop. UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk Ravindran K. noted that the tour had evolved into a community platform in its second year, fostering connections and promoting an active lifestyle among Malaysians. The event was supported by Joola, Fred Perry, Milo, and other partners.
