Colby Covington to defend RAF crossover title vs. Khamzat Chimaev in Abu Dhabi

Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev will clash in an upcoming main event at the RAF Abu Dhabi on November 14, as announced by the promotion. The fighter from the UFC middleweight division, Chimaev, will defend his RAF cruiserweight crossover title against Covington in a highly anticipated bout. The event will be held at Etihad Arena and streaming live on FOX Nation.

Following his retirement from MMA earlier this year, Covington boasts an impressive 5-0 record in the RAF organization. Notably, he secured the RAF cruiserweight crossover title by defeating Arman Tsarukyan in July and successfully defended it in August at RAF 13 against Belal Muhammad in Miami. On the other side, Chimaev, who has been active in his MMA career, made a successful debut in June by dominating Dillon Danis, followed by other victories against Tyron Woodley and Gilbert Burns.

Despite losing the UFC middleweight title to Sean Strickland in May, Chimaev has not been booked for any subsequent fights.
