Centrali nucleari, siglato a Parigi il sodalizio tra l’italiana Caen e la Cea francese

A Paris, Caen Solutions Nucléaires, a new Italian-French company, has been formed with the goal of becoming a key player in nuclear instrumentation. This initiative brings together Cea Investissement, a branch of France's public energy and alternative energy entity Cea, the Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission, Caen-Costruzioni Apparecchiature Elettroniche Nucleari Spa, a European leader in nuclear electronics and instrumentation, and Aineo, an expert in supporting companies in nuclear measurement and AI applications.

The goal of this partnership is to offer modern solutions tailored to the needs of French and European industrial operators, while promoting research and seizing opportunities in a rapidly growing market. Caen Solutions Nucléaires is an Italian company based in Viareggio, a leader in measurement systems used in major international nuclear physics experiments.

It supplies excellence to Cern in Geneva and the Iaea, with commercial offices in the US, Germany, and presence in 80 countries worldwide, supplying measurement instrumentation and support to research centers and nuclear industry sites.

The company's success hinges on progress in future nuclear technology, which cannot be separated from its measurement tools. In nuclear plants, everything is grounded in the ability to measure precisely - particle flows, radiation, system performance. This is where Caen Solutions Nucléaires comes in. A strategic initiative aimed at technological sovereignty, offering solutions suited to industrial operators' needs, through the revitalization of nuclear programs, fuel cycle, new reactors, and the challenges of decommissioning.

The need for reliable and precise instrumentation is expanding, and Caen is ready to play the leading role.
