Building an Engineer, One Connection at a Time

I began SolderFlow as a way to document the journey of becoming an engineer. Many students in India, like myself, enter engineering without a clear path. It wasn't my dream to study Electronics and Communication Engineering, I entered the field because of circumstances and felt lost at first. The more I searched for answers, the more I realized I wasn't alone in my confusion.

There were thousands of ECE students looking for guidance. While there were accomplished engineers with impressive projects, the question of where to begin remained unanswered for many. As a beginner, everything seemed like scattered dots. Individual lectures, projects, programming languages, and hardware components didn't hold much meaning on their own.

But connecting them together revealed a picture of growth and learning. SolderFlow is based on this principle—every project, mistake, and new concept is a connection that contributes to becoming an engineer. I chose to document my journey openly, even though I wasn't an expert yet. Over the years, I plan to share the lessons I've learned and the experiences that helped me move forward.

My goal is not to provide shortcuts or claim there's one perfect path, but to connect the scattered pieces of the engineering journey through honest sharing of real learning, projects, failures, and growth. If someone visits SolderFlow feeling as lost as I once was, I hope they leave with the understanding that engineering isn't about having all the answers.
