Brevard County HS Sports Weekly Results, Week of Sept. 28-Oct. 3

Monday (9/28) in Brevard County saw golf action at various venues. Boys at Viera emerged victorious over Rockledge with a score of 152-175 at Rockledge Country Club. Four players from Viera tied for third place: Arin Sinha, Cyrus Kim, Jeremiah Smith, and Jou Chow. At Holy Trinity, Bradley Braid topped the leaderboard with a score of 36, followed by Zack Butera and Everett Davis with 40 each.

Connor Purvis and Bo Bagwell both had scores of 42, with multiple players sharing the top four spots. At Melbourne, Ethan Chadwick led the way with 36, while Clay MacConnell and Johnny Munoz were tied for second with 42. Brandon Fishe of Melbourne Central Catholic finished tied for fifth with Dillon Troy and Kaden James, all scoring 43.

Merritt Island faced Titusville and Space Coast in a three-team match at Indian River Preserve Golf Club. Nicolas Valle Ramirez led Merritt Island with a score of 35, while Cade Jefferson and Matteo Jimenez each scored 39. Thomas di Vita, Rhett Plunkett, and Gavin Wardlow of Space Coast tied for eighth place with a score of 50. Master's Academy from Vero Beach secured a 3-1 win over Pineapple Cove West Melbourne in indoor volleyball action.

Merritt Island dominated Titusville with a 3-0 victory, led by Ema Michell with 14 kills and Alyssa Passmore with 5 aces.
