BlueStone opens 3,200 sq ft Kolkata flagship, its first concept store
The new format targets consumers who wear jewellery as personal expression rather than for traditional occasions
BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle Ltd inaugurated its flagship store in Kolkata on Tuesday, marking the debut of its new concept store format. Situated at Stephen Court, 18 Park Street, the 3,200 square foot space houses over 2,000 unique designs, catering to consumers who view jewellery as a personal expression rather than for traditional events. The store's interior maintains a minimalist approach, focusing on the products themselves rather than the surrounding environment.
The flagship store will feature two key collections: "Whispers of Motion," which employs the diamond dancing technique, suspending diamonds and fancy-cut gemstones in open, sculptural forms that move with the wearer; and a new handcrafted and antique jewellery range, characterized by Kundan setting and antique finishes. Both collections are designed and manufactured in-house, adhering to BlueStone's commitment to quality and innovation.
The launch of this Kolkata store also aligns with BlueStone's omnichannel model, providing customers the option to pre-select designs online before visiting the physical store, or to browse a comprehensive digital catalogue within the store itself. Gaurav Singh Kushwaha, Founder, MD and CEO of BlueStone, emphasized that "jewellery in India is no longer reserved for weddings and festivals." Park Street was identified as the ideal location for the flagship store, reinforcing BlueStone's presence in the city.
BlueStone, which is listed on the NSE since August 2025, reported a revenue of ₹2,441.2 crore from operations in FY26. As of March 31, 2026, the company operated 340 stores across 134 cities in 28 states and union territories. On Tuesday, the stock closed at ₹806.05, marking a 2.52 percent increase and resulting in a market capitalization of approximately ₹12,314 crore. The current P/E ratio stands at 222.91, indicating high growth expectations priced into the stock.
