Bengals make a host of roster moves

The Cincinnati Bengals have made a series of roster adjustments, including placing cornerback Jalen Davis on injured reserve and waiving wide receiver Ke’Shawn Williams. To replace these positions, the team signed tight end Tanner Hudson off the Bengals' practice squad and wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley from the Houston Texans' practice squad.

Additionally, safeties Isaiah Nwokobia and Beau Brade were signed to the Bengals' practice squad. Davis, a sixth-year player, sustained a hamstring injury during the team's Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Williams, a second-year player, participated in Week 3 and was absent for the initial two games this season. Hudson, a seventh-year player, was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster for two games, catching three passes for 17 yards.

Tinsley, a third-year player from Penn State, was on Houston's practice squad for the team's first three games. He spent the 2025 season and the offseason with the Bengals before being waived in final cuts. Nwokobia, a rookie from SMU, was a college free agent signing for the Bengals during the offseason. He was waived by Cincinnati on August 4.

Brade, a third-year player from Maryland, was a college free agent signing for the Baltimore Ravens in 2024. He had appearances in 26 regular-season games for the Ravens and New York Giants, contributing two defensive tackles and three special teams tackles. Brade trained with the Giants this past offseason and camp, but was later waived on final cuts.
