Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse announced the birth of their first child together, a baby girl. The couple, who married in 2023, posted a photo of themselves as a family of three on Instagram, with Sprouse holding their newborn while watching baseball on television. All three were wearing Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys. The caption on the post suggested their baby was born on September 7, writing, "We took Labor Day literally this year."

While they did not share further details about their newborn, the couple had previously announced they were expecting a girl. Palvin recently discussed her pregnancy and body changes on Dylan Sprouse's Wildmen podcast. The 32-year-old model explained that she began "spiralling" after gaining weight early in her pregnancy, noting her stomach grew before she had a visible bump and her clothes no longer fitted.

Palvin stressed the importance of having a supportive partner during this time, mentioning that Sprouse encouraged her by reminding her they were "creating life." Her anxiety around her changing body stemmed from over 20 years in the modeling industry, where she was frequently told to lose weight from a young age. Palvin, who began modeling at 13, recalled facing comments about her body throughout her career and trying dieting and changing her appearance to meet industry expectations.

She admitted to torturing herself by trying to fit a conventional body type, though she did not find the "plus-sized model" label hurtful. Palvin noted that as a public figure, her appearance is part of her work, but she has never felt the need to comment on others' bodies, believing that if she has nothing nice to say, she keeps it to herself.
