Baraclit festeggia gli 80 anni con 200 milioni di ordini e investimenti green

Baraclit of Bibbiena, a prominent Italian manufacturer of industrial prefabricated concrete structures, celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2025. The company, owned by the Bernardini family, reported its best-ever financial results and gave each of its 350 employees a bonus of over 1,000 euros. The firm closed 2025 with a production value exceeding 131 million euros, marking an 11% increase from the previous year, and a strong EBITDA of around 11 million euros.

The company's shareholders will receive an additional bonus for the 80th anniversary celebration, shared among Baraclit, its subsidiary Prefabbricati 2000 (in Brescia), and Omat (in Arezzo). Baraclit is known for its prefabricated buildings for industrial, logistics, commercial, and directional purposes throughout Italy. Notable projects include the new office of Bianchi Biciclette in Treviglio, the Fass Shopping Center in Cagliari, and organic waste treatment plants near Rome.

Founded in 1946 in Bibbiena, the company evolved from an artisanal business to an industrial group, including a specialized division for prefabricated electrical cabins and energy solutions, which has driven its growth in recent years. In 2025-2026, Baraclit invested 10 million euros, half in acquiring Prefabbricati 2000 and expanding production capacity, and the other half in a new concrete plant and a floating solar panel system in Bibbiena and an 8,000 sqm floating solar installation.

The company's owner, Luca Bernardini, explained that the new solar system allows the company to produce 5.2 megawatts of renewable energy, with 60-70% of the surface covered by floating solar panels made from recycled plastic. This project is part of Baraclit's continuous green transformation, aiming to reduce water evaporation and increase energy efficiency.
