Agriculture Minister Addresses The Closing Ceremony Of The International Trade Show

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi highlighted the immense potential of Uttar Pradesh in agriculture, food processing, and textiles during the closing ceremony of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show. He stated that the state has transformed over the past nine years, moving away from being a BIMARU state associated with criminal activities to becoming a preferred destination for investment due to improved law and order.

Shahi emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is working towards realizing the vision of Ram Rajya, focusing on the upliftment, happiness, and prosperity of all sections of society. He also pointed out that Uttar Pradesh is now the top wheat-producing state in the country and has found new uses for challenges like water hyacinth and Madar through innovative applications in textile production.

Hansraj Vishwakarma, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, also addressed the closing ceremony. He praised the event for strengthening the vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' and the goals of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, including the creation of an Atmanirbhar Bharat and a developed India by 2047.

Vishwakarma noted that the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show brought together thousands of visitors and delegations from India and abroad, showcasing the state's industrial and entrepreneurial capabilities. He highlighted that participants from various districts of Uttar Pradesh exhibited their skills and products, providing an important platform to demonstrate the state's potential as a trillion-dollar economy.

Vishwakarma emphasized that UPITS played a significant role in advancing the vision of a developed India.
