White joins Fury to cast doubts on Joshua fight

UFC president Dana White has joined Tyson Fury in expressing uncertainty about the proposed all-British heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Fury, as reported by PUNCH Sports Extra. The December 11 match, scheduled at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, faces uncertainty due to a growing dispute between Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn and White.

The UFC boss, who is overseeing the fight's promotion as the main promoter for Zuffa Boxing alongside Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh, claims that Hearn has been hindering the event. White stated he is unsure if the bout will proceed, as the situation has become a "shambles." Fury, himself, has criticized Hearn and Joshua, asserting he has fulfilled all commitments to make the fight happen.

He even suggested tying concrete blocks to his boots if necessary. White confirmed he would not step aside to ensure the fight's success, stating the decision lies with others. The fight, financed by Alalshikh and Netflix, has been a long-awaited contest after years of failed negotiations. However, the ongoing conflict between Hearn and White has put the event in jeopardy, with less than 11 weeks remaining until the scheduled fight.
