Vote for your favorite: Pick the next OCM Athlete of the Week

Brielle Howard, a senior at Plymouth North, was named Old Colony Memorial Athlete of the Week after scoring a game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory against Pembroke on September 15. Her achievement received 48 percent of the votes cast for this week's Athlete of the Week poll. The following individuals have been nominated for the title this week:

1. Lana Trostel, a senior at Plymouth South, showcased her skills as the senior captain of the field hockey team. She scored twice during a 5-3 win against Plymouth North on September 23.

2. Ana Hergenhan, a sophomore at Plymouth North, played a pivotal role for the girls soccer team. Her goal led the team to a 1-0 home victory over Scituate High on September 22.

3. Landon Cote, a senior at Plymouth North and a member of the boys soccer team, made significant contributions to the squad. His goal secured a 1-0 home win over Scituate High on September 22.

4. Hunter Cronin and Jack Huggon, both seniors at Plymouth North and golf players, shared the honor of being medalists in a tournament on September 21, where Plymouth North defeated Plymouth South with a score of 238-244.

5. Dylan Vaughn, a senior at Plymouth North and a runner on the boys cross country team, broke the course record time at the school on September 22. His second-place finish overall was second only to a runner from Marshfield. Vaughn also led a sweep for North in a 15-47 victory over Whitman-Hanson on September 15.
