Vote for the midseason Hillsdale County cross country MVP honors

Local high school cross country teams in Hillsdale County have been making a strong start to the season, with impressive performances in regional and league competitions. As we head into the mid-season, a detailed ranking of the top-performing boys and girls cross country athletes across all divisions has been compiled for the Hillsdale County Intermediate School District (ISD) teams.

This ranking includes the top three runners for each team, followed by the next two best runners, and these athletes are now featured in the mid-season reader's choice MVP polls.

In these polls, the top three runners based on time automatically secure their spots in the final season MVP poll at the end of the year. To vote, readers can select their favorite one of the top five runners, who will then be named the mid-season MVP. Should a mid-season MVP winner fail to make the top three, they will be granted an automatic invitation to the final reader's choice poll, which will include the top five runners overall at the conclusion of the season.

The Hillsdale Daily News will also designate its own MVP honoree for boys and girls cross country based on overall performance at the end of the year. Polls for this selection will close on September 30, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. One important thing to note is that readers are permitted to cast multiple votes; however, this can be done by refreshing the page.
