Family members of the victims of a helicopter crash in Quebec reveal their loved ones were celebrating a birthday before the tragedy. Four people were killed in Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville, 50 kilometers southeast of Montreal. The victims identified as radio host Gabriel Jasmin, his mother-in-law Chantal Raymond, his brother-in-law Loucas Perreault, and pilot Suzanne Jutras. Énergie 106.1 radio station announced Jasmin's death on social media, expressing condolences to his partner, daughter, and family.

Océane Perreault, Jasmin's partner, shared her sorrow, stating that a helicopter ride intended to celebrate her mother’s birthday turned into a tragedy. The incident is under investigation by federal and provincial authorities, including the Transportation Safety Board of Canada and the Quebec coroner’s office.
