Swiss Rejects Tightening Neutrality Rules in Sunday Referendum
Just over 70 percent of Swiss citizens voted on Sunday against tightening the country’s neutrality policies, which would’ve prevented closer defense ties with Europe and limited sanctions to those passed by the UN. Bern has also moved in lockstep with the EU on Ukraine policy amid heightened risks from Moscow.
