Stevie Wonder Unvaults Four Songs in the Key of Life Tracks

Stevie Wonder is commemorating the 50th anniversary of his iconic album, Songs in the Key of Life, with an EP featuring untapped tracks from the album's lengthy recording sessions. The four songs featured in the EP—"It's Easier," "My Life Story of Love," "I Can See the Sun in Late December," and "I'm Into Livin'"—were selected by Wonder himself from the album's outtakes.

These songs, which were not originally included in the album, find their way onto "Songs in the Key of Life: The EP" and are available for listening now. In a press release, Wonder expresses his excitement about the new releases, stating, "We've lived with Songs in the Key of Life for fifty years, but there's still more to hear."

Wonder clarifies that these additional tracks were not added to the original album; rather, they were integral to his creative process during its creation. The EP honours a time in Wonder's life and offers it to listeners today. The engineer who worked on the original album, John Fischbach, along with Gary O Adante, return to remix these unreleased tracks. Wonder is set to embark on an anniversary tour of the original album next month.
